Pork Barrel Breakdown
Electrical subsystems
Mechanical subsystems
Software
- IR beacon sensing (850 Hz and 4 kHz): A Schmitt trigger that is able to sense both the 850 Hz enemy signal and the 4 kHz Sequester signal
- Tape sensing: a phototransistive circuit with hysteresis that differentiates between black tape and white ground
- Drive system: 2 motors used to drive two wheels
- Power system: three 7.2 Volt NiMH rechargeable batteries used for drive system and powering sensors
- Bump sensing: bumper switch used to sense bumps
- Forward/reverse sensing: bumper switch with roller used to sense direction
Mechanical subsystems
- Bumper: a rigid design used to actuate a bump sensor
- Chassis: a 4-level barrel-shaped design
- Wheels: 2 skateboard wheels
Software
- Brick beating: general strategy and video, code
- Enemy strategy: general strategy and video, code
